Like so many other businesses when the lockdown started in 2020 we closed our office and began working from home. During the entire lockdown we didn’t furlough a single member of staff and didn’t take a penny from the government. Instead we invested in new technology and equipment so we could work remotely.
Clients found they preferred speaking to us over the telephone or by Zoom/Teams. It meant they didn’t have the inconvenience of: taking time off work or getting someone else to look after the kids, driving into the centre of town, and then finding somewhere to park, just to see us face-to-face.
We can still meet face-to-face if you like, but for the most part we find that remote working is quicker cheaper and simpler for all of us.
